THE DROWNING BAY

HeadOn Photo Festival, 2014.

On the full moon,  Clovelly Bay, momentarily, slips into the ocean.

Each year it disappears a little longer.  One day it will be gone forever.

The Drowning Bay, seeks to show the oceans of climate change here now, among us, on Sydney’s eastern beaches, bays and ocean baths, not in the far distant land of the future.

Over five  years, both day and night, I have set out to document the sometimes fierce swell, sometimes serenity of the swollen seas engulfing our coastline.
